Learn about Rhône Valley wines with wine expert Robin Kelley O'Connor -, Certified Wine Educator (CWE) /European Wine Expert/ Wine & Spirits Writer/ Sommelier and discover the famous and historic red wines made from the generous Grenache grape, seductive Syrah and the muscular Mourvèdre. We will also discover the delicious but lesser known white wines made from grape varieties like Viognier, Marsanne, Roussanne, Grenache blanc. We'll have 10 wines including, as an aperitif, a fabulous Clairette de Bellgarde, a unique white wine from a small village in the southernmost part of the region, as an aperitif.
With the wines we’ll serve an exciting array of artisanal cheeses with freshly based baguettes from Breads Bakery in Union Square, in our opinion the best in New York City.
Plan to enjoy this special event in the European atmosphere of Pierre Loti Wine Bar Chelsea.
